BEACONSFIELD PARISH NEWS
FOR WEEK STARTING 28 MAY 2017

Introduction:

This weekend we celebrate the Feast of Christ's Ascension into Heaven, the crowning of His Easter victory over sin and death. While on one level the Ascension meant bidding a farewell, in reality it is about a new way of the Lord Jesus being presented to us with the power of the Holy Spirit. We remember Him sending out His Disciples, and we remember His promise to stay with us until the end of time. So today is a joyous day, a day to look upwards where Christ sits in glory at the right hand of the Father. Our destiny is to share in the glory of Christ.

Sacrament of Confirmation Mass:

The Sacrament of Confirmation will be celebrated in our Parish at 6.30pm Mass on Saturday 10 June, and 10am Mass on Sunday 11 June.
Let us pray that God, in a special way, will bless all those who will be confirmed so that they may always remain faithful to Him.

First Communion for Confirmees:

First Communion will be celebrated in our Parish on Saturday 17 June, and on Sunday 18 June.
